Jayne Huskisson

Jayne lives near Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey where she gains great inspiration from the beautiful surrounding landscape. The subject matter focuses on Jayne’s love of bright colours, reflecting on sunny days with a life full of optimism and dreams.
Originally trained as a fashion and textile designer, Jayne enjoys the exploration of mixed media and textiles particularly appliqué and stitched collage, although painting on silk is her primary specialisation.
Jayne has exhibited throughout Wales and Ireland. She has been awarded the Anglesey Tourism Association “The Best Arts/Heritage of the Year Silver Award 2010” and is recently winner of “The Best Arts and Crafts of the Year Award 2011”.
