Anwen Roberts

Anwen Roberts is based on the beautiful Island of Anglesey. She has held several solo exhibitions and many group shows, and she is involved in the Anglesey Arts Weeks held during Easter."I go about my daily chores on the farm and I see scenes, people, shapes, light or a composition that I just have to paint. I'm passionate about portraying what I see and feel around me". Anwen tries to encompass a broad spectrum of rural life past and present, not just visually but also the emotions involved that can be easily overlooked.Her preferred medium are acrylics but she also uses pencil and pastel.
